A website was developed for a beauty salon with an extensive service catalogue. The page structure and quick-contact controls were planned together so services could be presented clearly and visitors could reach the salon from anywhere on the site. Dedicated management areas were also created so the business could update its services, blog content and salon details without editing page layouts.
Services
The extensive service catalogue was divided between the home page, a service archive and individual service pages, with each given a different role:
- Home page: Service categories and selected services were presented on the home page. Several service cards were displayed together on desktop. On mobile, a slider showed one card at a time to prevent the section from making the page unnecessarily long.
- Service archive: All services were brought together in a searchable archive with category filters. Search was limited to service names and categories so that shared phrases in longer descriptions did not produce unrelated results.
- Individual service pages: Archive cards provided brief introductions. Each service also received its own page for images, summary information and a detailed description.
Contact and Directions
An expandable quick-contact control gave visitors one-step access to phone calls, WhatsApp and Instagram DMs without requiring them to leave the page or section they were viewing.
On desktop, the directions link and expandable contact control were placed in the sticky header. On mobile, a separate fixed button made the same contact options available throughout the site without opening the menu.
Salon details, opening hours, a map and directions were also brought together on a dedicated contact page.
Site Management
Dedicated management areas allowed the business to add new services and blog posts without editing page layouts. Editing controls were also created for page copy, images, salon details, opening hours, contact links and menus.
An illustrated Turkish-language user guide covering routine management tasks was delivered.
Visual Presentation and Mobile Use
The approved visual direction was applied consistently across the home, service, blog and contact pages through the same colour palette, typography, image treatment and interface elements.
For smaller screens, the navigation, content order and page layouts were designed separately around the available space.
Content Publishing
A blog archive and individual blog post pages were created so information and announcements could be published separately from service content. A section on the home page displayed the latest posts.
Legal Texts
Each legal text was given its own page. A shared management area was created for publishing, archiving and ordering these texts, and for choosing which ones would be linked from the footer.
Technical SEO
A technical SEO foundation covering page-level meta titles, meta descriptions and structured data was put in place.
Performance and Security
Performance and security optimisations were applied to support fast loading across devices and reduce security risks.
